Omega Alpha Maritime Pine Bark Extract Product Information
Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals’ Maritime Pine Bark Extract contains 85% proanthocyanidins, the same amount of active ingredients as
Pycnogenol®. Proanthocyanidins are very powerful anti-oxidants.
Maritime Pine Bark extracts have been shown to:
- Increase the vitamin C levels in the cells*
- Protect the cells from damage caused by free-radicals and other oxidants*
- Strengthen the walls of blood vessels (capillaries)*
- Help prevent the destruction of collagen which is important for the maintenance of tendons, ligaments and skin elasticity*
- Help prevent the synthesis and release of compounds responsible for allergies and inflammation.*
