New Roots Herbal has selected a 100% pure, cold-pressed essential from the fruit zests of sweet orange (Citrus × sinsensis), which invigorate a room like a freshly peeled orange. Limonene, from the monoterpene family, accounts for approximately 50% of its active ingredients. In addition to limonene, coumarins, ketones, and aldehydes contribute to its intense and pleasant citrus aroma.
Its fruity and vibrant fragrance enhances mood and relieves nervous tension.* Mix with lemon or lime essential oil for an exotic scent, or with clove essential oil for a more comforting ambiance.
In topical use, its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties make it a good ally to nourish mature, irritated, or acne-prone skin.* A few drops added to a vegetable oil, such as sweet almond oil, will stimulate the lymphatic system and help remove toxins from your skin.*
