Steam-distilled from the fresh flowers of the lavender plant, New Roots Herbal’s 100% pure essential oil ensures you are getting the highest-quality medicinal ingredients in the purest form. The two major components of lavender oil released in aromatherapy are linalool and linalyl acetate. A study comparing the anxiolytic effects of lavender to benzodiazepines like chlordiazepoxide and diazepam (Valium) showed an equal efficacy, but there were fewer side effects when using the lavender oil.
Directions of Use:
Adults: Mix with carrier oil for topical application. Use undiluted for direct or steam inhalation. Use diluted for baths. Not for oral use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. For occasional use only.
